Robert Lemke is co-founder of the TYPO3 Association and leads the development of TYPO3 5.0 and FLOW3. He's passionate about agile development methods and clean code. Robert lives in Lübeck, together with his wife Heike and Vibiemme, their espresso machine.

Abstract:

FLOW3 is a powerful and mondern web application framework for PHP. And FLOW3 is the foundation of TYPO3 version 5. The fact that you can develop both, TYPO3 extensions and standalone applications based on the same framework allows for reusing your code, knowledge and infrastructure in a bigger variety of projects.

This year we started releasing the first alpha versions of FLOW3 1.0 and several agencies started using the framework for first pilot projects.

In this is a half-day tutorial you'll get a first-hand introduction to the concepts behind FLOW3 and learn how to start you very own web application.
