Abstract:

In this tutorial, you'll learn:

- how to start with unit tests for the 4.x core
- which obstacles are to be expected and how to overcome them
- which tools and techniques you can use to make writing the tests easier and faster

A big part of the tutorial will be actual hands-on writing some tests for the core. So a decent overview over the Core and good PHP coding skills are required.

Please also bring your laptop with a PHP development environment and the checked-out trunk of the Core source so you can write some tests during the tutorial.
