Ingo Schmitt is CTO of Marketing Factory Consulting GmbH, working with php/MySQL since 1996. TYPO3 was introduced at Marketing Factory in 2002 as a replacement for all homemade cms systems and is currently used by customers like Henkel, Metabo, Wrigley, Ista, Westfalia, Kneipp and many more. He is lead developer for the extension commerce, which development was initiated and sponsored by Marketing Factory Consulting GmbH for a direct integrating a shop system into a cms.

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA adhesives subsidiary is using TYPO3 for their Do-It-Yourself and Professional brands like Pattex, Pritt, Ponal, Ceresit, Metylan, Sista for the brand websites and also for some promotional websites. The content inside TYPO3 is supplied by different datasources provided by Henkel:

Product data; media, provided by hybris, imported via BMEcat XML Files
Security data sheets; technical data sheets provided by a lotus notes database
Image data, provided by pixelboxx
Dealer-Search, provided by Infotec
Sales Representative Search, provided by excel files

The data generated by TYPO3 is exported to external processing systems:
Newsletter subscriptions, exported to Lyris
Newsletter content, exported for send out to Lyris
Image ordering, export to fulfiller

In this track we will step into the different sources and have a look at some detailed solutions for importing and using this data and exporting the generated data.
