Abstract:

The content modelling capabilities are a key differentiator between content management systems and the requirements are rather extensive. A good model already comes with all the basic content types the average editor needs. It also allows for creating new, custom content types without any hassle. Content exists multiple dimensions such as versions, workspaces, localizations and translations. Despite all this complexity a clean and easy to use API for managing content should be available for developers.
This talk outlines the content model of TYPO3 5.0 and the possibilities which open up thanks to its flexibility. Of course you'll also get a glimpse on the current state of the TYPO3 5.0 and further planned features.
