Child's Play - Busting The Bad Usability Myth
- Author:
- Jo Hasenau & Fiona Hasenau
- Abstract:
- Every once in a while there's a discussion in one of the different newsgroups, forums and mailinglists about the TYPO3 backend being way too complex and the alleged bad overall usability and inconsistency of the TYPO3 backend.
During this talk, my 10 year old daughter and me will collect counter-evidence to bust this bad usability myth. We will prove, that in fact it's just child's play to use the TYPO3 backend.
Fiona will demonstrate how easily she can manage a website, create new or edit existing pages and content and she will even send out some newsletters to adresses of people in the audience. Since she can't do that in English, the talk will be bilingual German and English, thus making it a candidate especially for the orientation track.
