Abstract:

What can TYPO3 do for you?' is the topic for the orientation track in order to give Newcomers and people interested in TYPO3 an overview of the capabilities and functions of TYPO3. The presentation deals with useful TYPO3 extensions.
We will show interesting applications and options of extensions, for instance for google maps, photo gallery, news, newsletter, guest book / comments, e-cards, glossary, tag clouds, social bookmarking, and how these can be configured according to individual customer's preferences without programming. Furthermore, we will show two of our own extensions, one that allows for conditional links, the other offering an image field which uses references instead of copies.
