Abstract:

After a short introduction into the basics of Fluid, we will have a look at many real-world templating problems, comparing how to solve them with PHP, Smarty, and Fluid.
We will not only cover simple examples, but sophisticated real-world use cases.
Additionally, we'll have a look how the template writer is supported by a variety of tools when writing the template, such as an automatically generated reference.
Fluid is available as a system extension in TYPO3 4.3 and FLOW3, and is part of the migration strategy to TYPO3 v5.
